I'm Back + New Designs

Yay I'm Back. Yes, I know it hasn't been that long. But have you noticed anything different. That's right I have a new design. I know I have like only been blogging for 2 months and this is my second design, but I was finding the old one a bit busy and I still wanted my personal touch to it. No boring links for me!!!!

So throughout the week in my spare time out of exams, I spent studying and collecting HTML codes to make my blog perfectly my own.

And so there........that's my new design. Now to my next bit of news. I got to design Niamh's blog for her. I'm really happy how it came out as it was my first design - and I've got a new blogging friend!!! Please visit her blog as she is just starting out and needs some support!

So now I'm sorted with all my design codes, I would love to design your blog. Send me an email and we can discuss what you want to do with your blog. To give you an idea of what I am capable of read below

- My basic templates involve no header and one sidebar
- Sidebar may be on left or right of page
- Customized navigation links (home, older and newer buttons)
- Custom Attribution link (instead of standard blogger one)
- Design page customizations like headers

Tiny Little Bows

I'm just so excited to share this outfit post with you. Yesterday I got a new jumper from Karen Walker and some new jeans (showing soon) for winter and last night we went out for dinner for my Mum's birthday and I wore my new jumper. It has very cute bows and stripes on it. The fact that my shoes have bows on them, a name that suited this outfit was definitely Tiny Little Bows - From Carly Rae Jepsen's song, Tiny Little Bows.

I am also very excited because I have a new blog design in the making. I loved the design that I have at the moment as my first design but its very busy and I would love something a little simpler but still fun. Its still going to be drawn and very colourful. I am going to code it after my exams.

Smiling + Sketches

It's become a little that I use the '+' symbol a lot in my post title. I find it looks cool and better than 'and'. We always forget how contagious smiles can be. Just one smile to a stranger can make their day. I know when I'm at school and someone smiles at my I feel just a little bit brighter. Even if they don't say hi, it can have a even better effect. So I challenge you to a little smile game. Tomorrow smile at a stranger, a friend and a shopkeeper. 

 

So talking about smiling, so many things make me smile and just to mention a few....... I received a lovely little email from Marsha today. She is so sweet and loved my blog! My friend used my template for pen boxes and made ones for her whole household. They were very cute. Soon I'll show them to you. All sort of things have made me smile like cats and hot chocolate (Today's  rain certainly didn't make me smile). Above are just some quick sketches that did on things that make me smile. 

I'm actually not going to be blogging much for the next 2 weeks, I might be able to this and next weekend. But this week coming I need to study and the next week is my midyear exams! So just for two weeks I am going to take a break from blogging and take some extra time for school. I've got some great stuff planned for you after my exams so keep smiling.

Archive: CandyLand + Printable Gift Bag

This is the last Archive post. I'm excited to share with you some new outfit posts, since we have started getting some winter clothes (eww winter). But on a happier note, I have a special gift for you. Ages ago   I made these little gift bags after being inspired by Jo's (Lost In The Haze) printable hand drawn popcorn boxes but mine instead are little gift bags. Perfect for presents or just everyday trinkets. The little drawings are just little things that I like. Like cupcakes and dresses and cakes.

More Inspiration + Vinyls

Now to my Vinyls. When my Mum was younger she had these dolls called Sindys. One of her things we still have. It's a Hi-fi - with cassettes and Vinyls. The cases are all the same so I decided to make some little new cases for them. I also had a go at making my own actually discs (or whatever you call them). I love little vintage things - but today in our modern world, CD's and records are dying out. My Mum test drove a new car today, it's all wireless and you just hook your phone up to it for music. No CD player in sight.

Rain + Some Pretty Inspiration

So while all you in The North are crossing of the days to summer, down here, we are savouring the days. But winter has struck this week. Rain, rain, rain...... gales and freezing temperatures (for us after our long hot summer). You know when its nearing water in our house, because the sun stops streaming into our living area and the cat is lying by the fire cleaning. So I think we have handed the summer over to our friends in the North. Enjoy your summer!!
