At The Waterfront

Yesterday my friend Gemma and I went to the Waterfront for a walk. We took some pictures. Most are taken by her - so Gemma needs some credit here.

Then we went and had a look at a place called Milse - a dessert restaurant. Yes you heard me right, a restaurant just for eating desserts.

But we saved our appetites and went and got gelato instead. Yum, Yum. Gemma had Mango and I had Chocolate

Pens and Markers

Lately I've been a bit obsessive with pens. I have been using my Staedtler triplus fineliner pens for drawing, writing and all my school work. Talking of school, I'm school free for 2 weeks (!!). I've got heaps of stuff planned to share with you - even a sweet little giveaway. Back to pens; I am also saving up to buy some bic mark - it permanent pens. I hear they are great for coloring and I love the Pastel Paradise colors. But then comes the pack of 36 which I can't afford yet, since buying my iPad. Don't get me wrong I love my iPad, but pens are good too when you're me!!

How to wear: Denim Jackets

I love my denim jacket. I wear it with skirts, dresses almost anything. I love the buttoned and belted style and the tucked into formal skirt style (Jenna Lyans style). I also love it over a really girly dress. I hope you like the little drawings, I spent all week making them!

Friday Favourites #01 - Enjoy the Little Things

So so many bloggers do Friday Favourite posts. I didn't want to copy but after much research I couldn't find a better alternative. So I am doing my first Friday Favourites Post. Every week I find stuff that I really like so it's a good place for me to write it all down with pen and paper.

Since my pencil case broke this week, I have to get a new one. This one from Kikki-K is my favourite so far. I love all their stuff especially this new range called Enjoy the Little Things - quite inspiring and something we don't think about much in our busy lives. We forget to see the little things and enjoy them in our life.

These flats must be the cutest shoes ever from Charlotte Olympia. Just perfect. Sadly the price is not perfect and completely out of my price range. But coincidently I stumbled across a DIY version of these shoes in my latest Creme magazine (best NZ mag) that look identical. We have to be grateful for those darling little fluffy friends with whiskers that are in our lives.

I first found this on The Dainty Squid which led me to a tutorial on how to make a Pressed Flowers iPhone case on the Etsy Blog. As well as a new pencil case my iPhone Case is breaking so maybe a new iPhone case too.

There's a Mouse in My Kitchen has nominated me for the Liebster Award. I screamed I was so excited to have this one month into my blogging journey. This is what I found out about the award

Archive: Star Jasmine

This was the first post I ever did on my old blog. I love it so much, so I had to share it with you. At the time there was lots of star jasmine growing in our garden so the name suited well to the time. I also didn't have my face in any of the photos at the time.
